Lynn
qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and specialises in Matrimonial and Child Care

Alan qualified as a solicitor

which is the UK's largest group of solicitors specialising in Family Law

A Wright
David qualified as a solicitor in May 1977 having
trained with Mills Kemp and Brown after gaining a distinction in Property Law
in his Law Society Final Examinations. He became a partner in the firm in July
1977 and heads the firms Commercial and Property Department. He
specialises in commercial property and company matters.

Guy
F Beaumont
Guy qualified as a solicitor in October 1991 and is
a partner in the firm. He specialises in Family and Matrimonial Law. He is a
member of the Law Society Children Panel, the Family Panel and Advanced
Family Law Panel and a member of Resolution. Guy handles all aspects of
family work including divorce, ancillary relief, injunctions, private and
public Children Act matters.

Gray
Karen qualified as a
solicitor in September 1998 and became a partner in the firm in 2003. She
specialises
in all aspects of Family and Matrimonial Law including contact
and residence disputes over children, divorce, matrimonial finances and
domestic violence. In July 2004 she was awarded specialist Resolution (formerly
SFLA) accreditation for Advanced Financial Provision and Children Law Private.
She is a qualified Collaborative Family Lawyer.

Christopher Newsam
Christopher qualified as a
solicitor in May 1990. He joined the firm in August 1987 having previously
gained experience in the Lord Chancellors Department specialising in
corporate and individual insolvency, commercial and residential landlord and
tenant matters, boundary disputes and debt. Christopher advises clients on all
aspects of civil disputes.

David is a Partner in the firm and qualified as a
solicitor in 1991. He is a member of the Law Society
Personal Injury Panel
and specialises in personal injury work as well as other civil disputes in
particular contractual matters. David is also a Senior Litigator in the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Sandra is a conveyancing
executive. She joined the firm in 1983 and has specialised in domestic
conveyancing since 1989.

Casey
Gerard qualified as a
solicitor in 1997 and joined the firm in 2002. He became a partner in 2005. He
is a Solicitor-Advocate and has rights of audience in all criminal proceedings
and deals with all levels of criminal defence work including appeals and
judicial reviews and represents Defendants involved in public protest and civil
liberties issues.

Steven Dawson
Steven qualified as a solicitor in September 2001
and became a Partner in 2008. Steven specialises in all areas of probate and will making. He advises on the
preparation of wills, tax planning and trusts, Court of Protection, Public
Guardianship Office matters and powers of attorney. Steven is also experienced
in the administration of estates.

Angela
Coles
Angela qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and has
worked in private practice since then. She is able to advise in relation to
Inheritance Tax Planning, setting up a Trust, drawing a Will and a Lasting
Power of Attorney. Clients considering transferring or settling their property
on their children might also benefit from talking over their plans with her.
Angela is also experienced in the administration of
estates.

Wilcock
Carol is a qualified
solicitor who spent many years pursuing an academic career, culminating in her
appointment as Director of the College of Law at York. She held this position
for 7 years before deciding to make a career change and joined our Private
Client Department in 2005. Carol has an extensive knowledge of Wills, probate,
capital taxes, trusts and estate planning. |

Cassie Worton
Cassandra qualified as a
solicitor in November 2005. Cassandra decided to specialise in Private Client
Law and deals with all areas of Will making and preparation, Probate,
Administration of Estates, Court of Protection, Public Guardianship matters,
and Powers of Attorney. Cassandra joined Mills Kemp & Brown in May
2006.

Darren Wheater
Darren joined the firm in 2006. He has 15
years experience in the Criminal Justice System. He is responsible for all
aspects of Magistrates Court and Crown Court case preparation and management.
Darren has successfully completed The Police Station accreditation
qualification and is therefore accredited for Police Station attendance to
advise as a Criminal Defence Legal Advisor.

Sam Price
Sam is a qualified solicitor whose conveyancing experience began in 2003. Specialising in commercial conveyancing he qualified as a solicitor in March 2006 before joining Mills Kemp & Brown in 2007.

Beverley Theato
Beverley was formerly a Registered Nurse and has specialised in claimant clinical negligence claims since qualifying as a solicitor in 1999. She is able to assist in all aspects of clinical negligence litigation and has a varied case load. She is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Simon Brian
Simon is a Partner who specialises in employment law. He acts for both employers and employees and advises on all aspects of employment law, including dismissals and terminations, employment contract disputes, disciplinary and grievance matters, discrimination issues, redundancies, whistle-blowing and TUPE. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Simon worked for a major FTSE100 plc, during which time he gained significant HR and management experience. Simon is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Industrial Law Society.

Sally Osborn
Sally is a Trainee Solicitor whose career began in 2005. Since then, she has gained experience at two large city firms acting for both Claimants and Respondents. She is able to advise in relation to all aspects of employment law including unfair and constructive dismissal, redundancy, equal pay and discrimination claims. She joined Mills Kemp & Brown in October 2008 and is a member of the Industrial Law Society.

Dawn is a Solcitor in family law. She joined the firm in October 2006. She has 10 years experience in dealing with family law including, divorce, financial matters, contact and residence orders for children, co-habitation and domestic violence.
